retrack

reaction tracker · iphone + apple watch

notice what gets a reaction out of you.

you log your reaction and what triggered it, with a note if you want one. it takes about five seconds. over time, the patterns show you what actually gets a reaction out of you — and that noticing is what makes you less reactive.

five seconds to log one

tap a recent reaction or reaction-trigger pair and it's saved. swipe the row for more choices. tap the entry’s arrow to add a trigger or note; new combinations also become saved pairs in settings. the home screen widget and apple watch use the same one-to-four reactions or saved reaction-trigger pairs and log in one tap without opening the iphone app. choose them in settings and save; the watch keeps that selection available offline. add a note later by opening the entry on your iphone.

it learns your triggers

name a trigger once and it becomes a one-tap chip next time. on iphones with apple intelligence, apple's on-device model reads a short note locally and names the trigger hiding in it — "meeting ran long, skipped lunch" becomes "meetings". the analysis never leaves your phone, and the note is never sent to an ai service or to us; it may sync as part of its private entry through your own icloud.

find your word

explore a hand-drawn map of reactions. search for a word to bring it into the middle, then tap it when you're ready to learn more or log it.

gentle patterns, not a dashboard

the patterns tab writes you a sentence or two, in plain language: "mostly irritated this week." "mornings carry most of it — go easy on your early hours." no scores, no streaks, no guilt.

a pause, when you need one

a meditation timer of 1, 5, 10, or 20 minutes. while you sit, retrack slowly draws you a landscape — wildflowers first, then the treeline, a stream, and at last the mountain itself. longer sits gather more. there's no gallery and no sharing; each drawing lives only in its moment. pauses of at least a minute can count as mindful minutes in apple health. reaction sharing is a separate choice on each iphone: while it's on, new entries from that iphone, siri, shortcuts, its home screen widget, control center, or its paired apple watch can be copied as state of mind entries by the iphone when retrack next runs. apple watch entries have to reach the iphone through private icloud first, so delivery is best-effort rather than instant and is retried when needed. turning it on does not import old history; entries made while it was off, and later edits or deletions, never change health. only the iphone app has health access, and retrack never reads from it.

yours alone

there is no retrack account and no mostly lentils data server. your entries live on your iphone or apple watch and sync privately through your own icloud, which means we can't read them — not "we promise not to", we have no way to. no tracking, no analytics, no ads. you can lock the iphone app behind face id. start fresh deletes entries and trigger quick picks across private icloud; custom reactions, settings and reminders, an active pause, and apple health copies remain. the full details are in the privacy policy.
